The special analog function modules in the FX2N series include: FX2N-2AD ( 2 analog inputs), FX2N-4AD ( 4 analog inputs), FX2N-2DA ( 2 analog outputs), FX2N-4DA ( 4 FX2N-4AD-PT ( 4 channels of thermal resistance direct input), FX2N -4AD-TC ( 4 channels of thermocouple direct input), FX2N-2DA ( 2 channels of analog output), FX2N-4DA ( 4 channels of analog output ) analog output), FX2N-2LC ( 2- channel temperature PID control module), etc.
Module introduction:
The FX2N-2AD analog input module (hereinafter referred to as FX2N-2AD) is used to convert 2 points of analog input (voltage input and current input) into a 12-bit digital value, and input this value into the programmable controller.
The FX2N-2AD can be connected to the FX0N, FX2N and FX2NC series of programmable controllers.
1) Depending on the wiring method, the analog input can be selected between voltage input or current input. At this time, it is assumed that the setting is two-channel common analog input (voltage input and current input);
2) The two analog input channels accept inputs of 0 to 10V DC, 0 to 5V DC or 4 to 20MA. Make the input characteristics compatible with both channels;
3) Analog to digital conversion characteristics can be adjusted;
4) This module occupies 8 I/O points, which can be assigned as input or output;
5) Use FROM/TO instructions to transmit data with PLC;
Connection to programmable controller:
For each main unit with a powered expansion unit, the number of FX2N-2ADs that can be connected to the FX0N series PLC is 4 or less, the number of FX2N-2ADs that can be connected to the FX2N series PLC is 8 or less, and the number of FX2N-2ADs that can be connected to the FX2Nc series PLC is 8 or less. The number of connected FX2N-2ADs is 4 or less. However, when connecting the special function modules described below, there are the following restrictions.
FX2N : Main unit and active expansion unit with 32 or less I/O points, 24V DC, total current consumption of the following special function modules <190mA
FX2N : Main unit and active expansion unit with 48 or less I/O points, 24V DC, the total current consumption of the following special function modules is <300mA.
FX2NC : Regardless of the I/O number of the main unit, up to 4 of the following special function modules can be connected
FX0N : Regardless of the I/O number of the main unit and active expansion unit, up to 2 of the following special function modules can be connected.
