The communication board FX2N-485-BD for RS485 can be connected to the basic unit of the FX2N series programmable controller and used in the following applications.

1) Using protocol-free data transmission
Using protocol-free, data communication can be carried out between various devices with RS232C units through the RS485 (422) converter, such as personal computers, barcode readers and printers. In this application, data is sent and received through the data register commanded by RS.

2) Data transmission using a dedicated protocol
uses a dedicated protocol to transmit various data through RS485 (422) on a 1:N basis.

3) Use and connect data transmission
through the FX2N programmable controller, which can transmit data to 100 auxiliary relays and 10 data registers on a 1:1 basis.

4) Data transmission using N:N network
can be carried out on an N:N basis through the FX2N programmable controller.
